We recently successfully sold our home in Colfax, CA., with the help of Jan Wilson. When we decided to place our home on the market, we interviewed four Real Estate Agents. We requested a comparative market value estimate from each one, to determine the fair price we should ask and to find the Agent that would do the most for us. We also asked friends for recommendations. We can enthusiastically tell you that we made the right choice! There were very few homes in our area to do a comparative with. Unlike the other three, Jan suggested we get a home appraisal and provided us with the contract information for an appraiser in our area. We followed Jan's advice so that we knew what a fair market price for both us and the buyer would be. Then we listed with Jan. Even though it took nearly nine months to get an acceptable offer and an unprecedented 101 days to close escrow, we never once regretted that we had Jan Wilson in our court. We want to note that the length of escrow was on the buyer's side and not because of seller issues. Jan kept us informed every step of the way. He called us after every viewing to tell us what the prospective buyer, who just viewed our home, thought and how they responded. Once we were in escrow Jan called us regularly to let us know where we were in the process. Even when the buyer's Real Estate Agent didn't return phone messages, and when the Loan Company didn't return the Title company's phone messages, so Jan had no information to give us, he still called to tell us what he knew about our sale. Jan never left us hanging, and he never put us off or vaguely answered our questions. Jan took the time necessary to explain the process, what was supposed to happen next and why. It was Jan who made sure details were covered, extensions were drawn up and signed by both parties, and we had a number of extensions through those 101 days. It was Jan that made sure every piece of paperwork needed was completed and signed. His attention to detail, his diligence to communication, and his hard and consistent work helped us to successfully complete the sale. Jan's regular and consistent communication with us and his willingness to take the time to explain the process, made us feel comfortable and made the sale of our home far less stressful than it might have been had we chosen someone else to list with. We were able to put our trust in his knowledge of the Real Estate Industry and never once wondered if he was taking care of us. We hold Jan and his ethics in the highest regard. We would, without the slightest hesitation, recommend Jan Wilson as the Best Real Estate Agent to list with.

Thanks again for selling our Eldore Road land. It was quite a process — starting from choosing deed in-lieu of foreclosure over the more expensive and time-consuming foreclosure. This was all new to me and you taught me a lot. Since that buyer couldn't make the balloon payment thanks for having him pay the deed-in-lieu costs. And then the offers started coming in. Your explanations were clear and you didn't mind repeating them so that I could choose. And then the counter offers! I appreciate how promptly and often you had to call me regarding all this. You really kept the process moving and informed me at each step. Dealing with the land as part of the family trust added another element of complication but you worked that out as well. Speaking of trust — I knew that we could trust you and that certainly was the case. My brother even heard from someone up there that you were trustworthy, reliable and honest.
